On May 16, 1988 we first opened our doors in Des Moines, and since then our family-owned business has earned awards and recognition that we are proud of-but not as proud as we are of our employees commitment to service excellence. We take pride in taking care of you. What is most important to us at Car-X is getting you safely back on the road at a fair, affordable price. Our Car-X locations currently employ 33 people who enjoy working for Car-X because we function a lot like a family would. We strive to help our employees achieve certification for excellent auto repair and maintenance. We have always been locally owned and operated and will remain so. That is part of our commitment to you. What sets us apart from other tire and service centers is that we respect customers time and money. We want to make sure that your questions are answered and you leave knowing that your car was properly serviced and your money and time well spent. Our Car-X locations were awarded Dealer of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010. For the past five years, all of our locations have received a Customer Service Award for outstanding customer loyalty. And we are loyal to you, too. So much so that we give back what we can to our community and the people that helped us get where we are. Within our community, Car-X sponsors USSSA Little League teams and USSSA basketball teams. We also have sponsored the Granny Basketball team for the past five years.
